Terms of Use

Last updated: 7 September 2026

These terms govern your use of Cantuva — the website, app, and related services operated by MHT Software. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

If you do not agree, do not use Cantuva. Questions: support@getcantuva.com.

1. The agreement

“You” means the person or organization using Cantuva. If you use Cantuva for a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.

The Privacy Policy is part of how we handle data. Plan prices and feature lists on the Pricing page describe paid offerings. If a term here conflicts with a written order we both signed, that order wins for the conflicting point.

2. The service

Cantuva is a visual workspace: infinite canvas, notes, documents, tables, connectors, templates, collaboration, and related tools. Features depend on your plan (Free, Pro, or Team) as shown on the Pricing page.

We may add, change, or retire features. We will not silently convert a Free workspace into a paid plan. If we remove a paid capability, we will say so in the product or by email.

Cantuva is developed by MHT Software and led by Mehmet Güzel and Merve Adıgüzel, with a seven-person development and support team. The service is provided as software you access online, not as a custom-built installation unless we agree otherwise in writing.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate account information and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.

You must be at least 13. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian’s permission.

We may suspend or close an account that is unsafe, unpaid when required, or used in breach of these terms.

4. Plans and billing

Cantuva offers Free, Pro, and Team plans. Current prices and limits are on getcantuva.com/pricing. We do not invent prices in these terms — the catalog on that page is the source.

Paid plans are billed through our payment processor. Taxes may apply. Unless the checkout says otherwise, subscriptions renew until you cancel.

You can cancel a paid plan from billing settings. You keep paid features until the end of the period you already paid for, then the workspace returns to Free limits. We do not promise refunds except where the law requires them or we agree in writing.

5. Your content

You own the canvases, notes, documents, images, and other material you create in Cantuva. We do not claim ownership of your work.

You grant MHT Software a limited license to host, back up, transmit, and display that content solely to operate the service — including hourly cloud and physical-server backups, collaboration with people you invite, and export you request.

You are responsible for having the rights to content you upload and for what you share with others. Do not upload unlawful material or other people’s confidential work without permission.

6. Acceptable use

Use Cantuva lawfully. Do not attack the service, probe other users’ accounts, scrape at a harmful volume, send malware, or attempt to bypass plan limits or security.

Do not use Cantuva to host or share child sexual abuse material, to harass people, or to run spam or fraud. We may remove content and close accounts that break this rule.

Automated access (scripts, bots) is allowed only for your own account and at a reasonable rate, unless we give written permission.

7. Collaboration and workspaces

If you invite others, you control who can see that workspace. You are responsible for the people you add and for removing access when they should no longer see the board.

Presence, comments, and live edits on a shared canvas are visible to people with access. Treat a shared board as a shared room.

8. Availability and backups

We aim to keep Cantuva available and we take hourly backups in the cloud and on physical servers so we can restore data after an incident.

The service may still be interrupted for maintenance, failures, or events outside our control. These terms are not an uptime SLA unless we sign a separate one with you.

You should export important boards when you need an extra copy. We will treat backup media as confidential and keep physical copies under our control.

9. Our intellectual property

Cantuva, the Cantuva name, the product interface, templates we ship, and the underlying software belong to MHT Software and its licensors. You may not copy the product, reverse engineer it except where the law allows, or use our marks in a way that suggests we endorse you without permission.

Feedback you send may be used to improve Cantuva without an obligation to pay you or keep it secret, unless we agree otherwise.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Cantuva and delete your account. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service.

On closure, your license to use the service ends. We will handle remaining data as described in the Privacy Policy, including backup rotation.

11. Disclaimers

Cantuva is provided “as is.” We work to keep it reliable and your data recoverable, but we do not warrant that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose, except where the law does not allow us to exclude that warranty.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, MHT Software is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost data beyond what our backups can reasonably restore, or business interruption.

Our total liability for a claim relating to Cantuva is limited to the amounts you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim, or to a reasonable amount required by mandatory consumer law if that law applies to you.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including fraud or personal injury caused by negligence, where such a limit is forbidden).

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts of Türkiye have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer rules in your country give you the right to sue locally.

14. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top will change. If a change is material, we will post it on this page and, when appropriate, notify the email on your account. Continued use after the update means you accept the new terms.
